The Finch is an excellent pattern overall and the fit is genuinely impressive. I'd note that the jersey hem really needs a twin needle or coverstitch to stay flat — a standard straight stitch hem curled on me after one wash. Worth investing in a twin needle if you don't have one.

I extended the hem to maxi length and the result is a really elegant floor-length bodycon. The skirt portion is simple to lengthen using the lengthen line. The pattern works beautifully at both lengths.
