Men's Crewneck Sweatshirt Sewing Pattern 'Brian'

I made a size 40 for my husband using midweight cotton fleece, and the fit turned out very balanced through the chest and shoulders. The neckline sat flat without any fuss, which I really appreciated. It feels like a pattern you can come back to again and again.

I�m fairly new to garment sewing and this was my first sweatshirt. The instructions were straightforward, especially around attaching the neckband, which is usually where I get stuck. I used a printed A4 file and everything lined up exactly as expected.

I cut and sewed this over a Saturday using French terry, and it came together faster than I anticipated. The construction is simple but doesn�t feel rushed or sloppy. It�s now my go-to casual top at home.

I made a size 42 and didn�t need to adjust anything in the body or sleeves. The sweatshirt has enough ease for comfort but still looks neat when worn out. I�ve already had a few people ask where it�s from.

I used the projector file and found the layout very clean, with no unnecessary overlap. Cutting was quick and accurate, which made the whole process smoother. This pattern definitely works well if you prefer projector sewing.
