I found the cowl sat a little deeper than I personally wanted, and I would have appreciated a note on how to adjust the depth. Lengthened the skirt section for extra coverage

I'm tall and prefer my maxi dresses to skim the floor rather than hit the ankle, so I added five centimetres to the skirt length below the waist. The pattern is drafted so simply that this was very easy to do. The proportions still looked correct after the adjustment. Flexible pattern for different heights.

The cowl neck is the only technically demanding part and the instructions handle it well. Everything else is relatively straightforward seaming and finishing. I added pockets using a basic in-seam method and they integrated easily. A satisfying project that looks more advanced than it is to construct.
