How do I figure out the right size?

For example, prefer the size based on your bust measurement for making a top, and waist measurement for a relaxed dress cinched at the waist. 
If your measurements fall between sizes, consider the fit you prefer (looser or tighter) and the type of fabric you'll use, as some fabrics have more give. All patterns include finished garment measurements which can be helpful to know how much ease or extra room is built into the design.
